Changing phrases on your website should be easy and seamless. Many businesses want to edit strings
or change the translation of strings into a specific language. It’s now possible, and we are doing our
part to make it easier for businesses to better reach their target audience.
By following the steps below you will be able to change any string in the Blockonomis plugin to
what you want.
1. Install and activate the Loco Translate plugin.
Loco Translate makes it possible to adapt any string or change the translation of string into a specific
language.
2. Navigate to the Blockonomics Plugin within the Loco Translate plugin.
Once the Loco Translate plugin is installed and activated a new entry will be added to the WordPress
admin side menu, called Loco Translate.
Navigate to Loco Translate > Plugin > WordPress Bitcoin Payments - Blockonomics.
3. Create a template.
Before you can start adding translations you first need to create a template. When you have reached
the WordPress Bitcoin Payments - Blockonomics page you should click the Create Template button.
You will be led to a new page. On the New template file page press the Create template button.
If everything went well you will lead back to the WordPress Bitcoin Payments - Blockonomics page and
shown the message “✔ OK: Template file created”.
4. Add new language.
You will have reached the WordPress Bitcoin Payments - Blockonomics page again. This time around
you should click the New language button.
Under the section “Choose Language” you can either select the original language of the website if you
want to keep the language but change the wording of a phrase.
If you want to translate the Blockonomics plugin to another language you can go ahead and select
your target language.
Under the “Choose a location” it’s recommended that choose other and not Author. Otherwise, the file
might be overwritten by an automatic update. Once you are done setting it up press the “Start
translating” button.
5. Start translating.
Find the string that you want to translate and select it. The phrase should then appear in the source
text box. Go ahead and enter your new rendition in the translation box.
Once you have changed the strings click the save button.
