How do I discover my funds?
Select your wallet provider below to view instructions on discovering missing funds for your specific wallet.
Bitcoin.com
Scanning addresses in Bitcoin.com wallet
If your Bitcoin wallet is experiencing balance problems i.e. showing an incorrect balance or transaction history. Scanning addresses and clearing your cache will typically resolve this issue.
- Select your BTC wallet
- Tap on the Settings icon in the top right of the screen
- Click More Options at the bottom
- Choose Wallet Addresses
- Tap Unused Addresses 20 times or until you see the message Empty addresses limit reached
- Tap Scan addresses for funds
The funds should now show up in your BTC wallet. If this does not work try clearing the wallet cache:
- Select your BTC wallet
- Tap on the Settings icon in the top right of your screen
- Tap More Options
- Choose Transaction History
- Click Clear cache
This clears the cache and synchronizes your transaction history from the server.
If neither of these works, email the details of your transaction with screenshots to the bitcoin.com support team at wallet@bitcoin.com
Bitpay
If your BitPay wallet is experiencing balance problems i.e. showing an incorrect balance or transaction history. Scanning addresses and clearing your cache will typically resolve this issue.
To scan all the wallets addresses for funds:
- Choose Settings
- Scroll down and select Key
- Select your BitcoinWallet
- Select Addresses
- Choose Scan addresses for funds
Another step after scanning all wallet addresses for funds is clearing the wallet’s cache. Clearing the wallet’s cache synchronizes the wallet with the server.
To clear your BitPay wallet’s cache:
- Choose Settings
- Scroll down and select Key
- Select your BitcoinWallet
- Choose Transaction History
- Choose Clear Cache
If neither of these works to resolve your issue, please reach out to their support team with screenshots and transaction details.
Exodus
Scanning addresses in Exodus wallet
If your Exodus wallet is experiencing balance problems i.e. showing an incorrect balance or transaction history. Rescanning / refreshing the blockchain will typically resolve this issue, make sure you are using the latest release of Exodus. Please use Exodus Desktop wallet as rescanning is not supported on exodus mobile. Read here on how to migrate your wallet from exodus mobile to desktop.
Scan the bitcoin blockchain:
Click on Wallet in the left sidebar, then choose the Bitcoin Wallet
Mouse over the bitcoin logo and click on it.
A dialogue asks you if you want to rescan the blockchain. Choose Rescan.
When the refresh icon is finished spinning, all your transactions will be updated and refreshed.
You can also refresh the wallet from the Exodus Asset Menu.
Click Wallet in the left sidebar
Choose the Bitcoin Wallet
Click on the settings icon in the top right-hand corner to open the Asset Menu
Click Refresh Blockchain

Ledger
Scanning addresses in Ledger wallet
If your Ledger wallet is experiencing balance problems i.e. showing an incorrect balance or transaction history. Clearing your cache and resetting your application data will typically resolve this issue.
Clearing the device cache.
Click on Settings.
Click the Help tab.
Click the Clear button to clear the cache.
Click Confirm after reading the instructions. The application will then reopen to your dashboard.
Once Ledger Live is synchronized, your balance should be displayed correctly.
If this is not the case, please attempt the following:
Disconnect and reconnect your device.
Check that you do not have any firewall or security program which would block their servers.
Refresh your wallet by clicking on the refresh arrow in the top right corner of the screen.
Reset your app by clicking on Settings > Tools > Reset application data (Warning: You should have your seed words stored and accessible before doing this)
If your funds are still not showing in your wallet, check the network status on the ledger status page. If the network is active, contact the Ledger support team for assistance.
Blockchain.com Wallet
1. Try to refresh wallet and it should discover new funds
2. Wait for transaction to confirm. Sometimes blockchain wallet doesn't show payments until they are confirmed
3. Try Recovery using via Settings > Wallets and Addresses
Blockchain Wallet - Fix for future payments
1. Click on Find your wallet xpub in stores
2. It will show a popup and tell you to convert your xpub to zpub
3. Replace your destination wallet xpub in stores with the above zpub
4. Now all future payments will arrive directly to your blockchain wallet
